Job Title: AMG Medical Assistant
Job Location: Novi, MI
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 

• Monday & Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm

Job Summary:

• Assists with the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with treatments as ordered by the physician and supervised by the physician or registered nurse.
• Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients/participants, measure vital signs, and document information in patient charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage materials by ordering and stocking supplies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

• Follow Standard Precautions and use required personal protective equipment.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Certifications & Licenses:

• BLS Provider certification (required).
• Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred.

Skills & Work Environment:

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to perform effectively in a stressful environment.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience required.

Schedule Hours per week: 40.00
Schedule Hours per day: 8.00
Schedule Days per week: 5:00
