Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst
Job Location: Boston, MA
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Payrate: $43.00/ hr on w2

Job Summary:

• The Temporary Financial Analyst will support the Finance and Administration team with essential forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation functions.
• This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills and an understanding of budgeting and financial systems.

• Assist with monthly forecasting for operating and restricted accounts
• Update and maintain financial dashboards and budget tracking tools
• Support the review and reconciliation of transactional data
• Generate journal entries and assist with documentation for internal fund transfers
• Collaborate with department leads to track discretionary spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Monitor commitments as needed
• Support data entry, reporting, and cleanup within financial systems (e.g., SAP, Excel models, Power BI)
• Help prepare materials for financial reviews
• Provide backup support for Concur invoice processing
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred (higher ed experience a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
• Experience with financial systems (SAP, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
