Job Title: Logistics Data Analyst
Job Location: 13025 E. Los Angeles St, Irwindale, CA 91706 (Fully Onsite)
Job Duration: 18+ Months (Possibility of extension)
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25/Hr - $31.44/Hr.
Job Description:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze data related to trucking operations, contract carriers, and material movement.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards in Excel using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
- Extract and analyze data from systems such as Samsara and SAP to evaluate truck frequencies, equipment utilization, and material delivery volumes.
- Support the implementation of Proof of Delivery (POD) solutions for mailing service drivers, including leading small-scale projects.
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and reporting to meet emerging business needs.
- Complete administrative tasks in support of category management and trucking operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in reports and deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
- Experience working with transportation/logistics data preferred.
- Familiarity with Samsara and SAP strongly desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education Requirement: Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
