IT PMO Project Manager Kinaxis Demand Planning Delivery

Position: IT PMO Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC area preferred, Remote candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones will be considered.

Travel: Limited travel to Charlotte, NC may be required for project workshops or key delivery events. Travel is expected to be 1525% or less, with advance notice provided.

Interview Process:

  • Round 1: Video Interview with PMO Panel

  • Round 2: Video Interview with PMO & Project Sponsor Panel

  • A third round may be conducted for final candidate selection.

This role supports global supply chain and manufacturing operations by delivering advanced planning capabilities through the Kinaxis Demand Planning platform.




Position Overview

The IT PMO Project Manager will lead the implementation and delivery of Kinaxis Rapid Response Demand Planning solutions integrated with SAP ECC manufacturing systems.

This role requires a delivery-focused leader with experience managing enterprise technology implementations, working in Agile/Scrum environments, and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders. The Project Manager will ensure successful product delivery while maintaining alignment with PMO governance, quality standards, and enterprise strategy.




Key Responsibilities



Project & Product Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Kinaxis Demand Planning solutions.

  • Manage Product, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery outcomes.

  • Oversee product roadmaps, feature delivery, and post-go-live enhancements.

  • Ensure alignment between Agile delivery practices and enterprise PMO governance.



Kinaxis Implementation Leadership

  • Manage Kinaxis Rapid Response implementations and enhancements supporting:

    • Demand planning and forecasting

    • Supply and capacity planning

    • Scenario modeling and what-if analysis

    • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning

  • Oversee integration between Kinaxis and SAP ECC, including:

    • Demand signals

    • Material master data

    • Bill of Materials (BOM)

    • Manufacturing planning data

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including:

    • Supply chain stakeholders

    • SAP functional teams

    • Kinaxis solution architects

    • System integrators

    • Internal IT teams



Agile & Scrum Delivery

  • Lead Agile delivery activities including:

    • Sprint planning

    • Backlog refinement

    • Daily stand-ups

    • Sprint reviews and retrospectives

  • Work closely with Product Owners and Business Leaders to:

    • Prioritize product features

    • Manage product backlogs and roadmaps

    • Deliver incremental business value



PMO Governance

  • Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and resource plans.

  • Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

  • Provide delivery status updates to executive leadership and PMO stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise governance and delivery standards.



Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with supply chain, manufacturing, and IT leaders.

  • Act as the primary contact for delivery status, risks, and key decisions.

  • Drive stakeholder alignment and adoption.



Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and governance standards.

  • Promote continuous improvement through Agile retrospectives and delivery metrics.

  • Support operational readiness and user adoption.




Domain Knowledge Requirements

Strong understanding of enterprise demand and supply planning systems, including:

  • Kinaxis Rapid Response or similar Advanced Planning Systems (Client)

  • Demand forecasting and demand sensing

  • Supply planning and capacity modeling

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning

  • Scenario-based planning and what-if modeling

  • Integration with SAP ECC in manufacturing environments

  • Planning solutions supporting complex multi-site manufacturing operations




Required Qualifications



Experience

  • 7+ years of IT project or product delivery management experience, preferably within a PMO environment.

  • Hands-on experience implementing enterprise planning or supply chain platforms, preferably Kinaxis Rapid Response within the past 5 years.

  • Experience delivering solutions integrated with SAP ECC in manufacturing environments.

  • Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in large enterprises.




Required Certifications

  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) required

  • Agile or Scrum Certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent)




Preferred Qualifications

  • Product delivery or product management experience in enterprise IT environments

  • Experience working with system integrators and SaaS vendors

  • Familiarity with Agile lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps




Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models

  • Ability to manage product roadmaps, delivery plans, and backlogs

  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
