Location: Castle Rock, CO 80104
Duration: 2 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25/hr. on W2

The Phlebotomist / PSR II serves as the face of the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires strong patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures to ensure accuracy, safety, and a positive patient experience.

Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist / PSR II serves as the face of the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires strong patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures to ensure accuracy, safety, and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw blood specimens from patients, including pediatric and geriatric patients, following established procedures.
- Verify patient demographic information and tube labeling with patient initials/signatures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Work independently and maintain a safe, professional environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly with patients, peers, and supervisors.
- Cover multiple locations and adapt to flexible schedules, including potential weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
- 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Strong keyboarding/data entry skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical assistant or paramedic training.
- Customer service experience in retail or healthcare settings.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
