Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Renton, WA 98057
Duration: 3 Months+ (possible extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $1600/Week Blended
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team in Renton, WA. The ideal candidate will support physicians and nurses by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for examination, record medical histories, and vital signs.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Support patient education and provide instructions regarding treatment plans.
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are properly sanitized and stocked.
- Assist with front-office duties such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Medical Assistant within the last 3 years.
- Certification: Current Medical Assistant Certificate (WA State recognized).
- BLS Certification: Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
