Title: Production Associate
Location: St. Louis MO
Duration: 2 Months and possibility to extend.
First Shift - 6am-2:30pm
Education: High School Diploma required or GED
Skills: previous experience in packaging and warehouse. the use of scales, GMP - (General Manufacturing Processes) knowledge.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A great Production Technician I is a teammate that places safety first. The Production Technician I in handling raw materials, staging materials for processing and operating pallet jacks or forklifts. Have the ability to work as a team player with different sets of skills.

Your key responsibilities
Set up machines to specification. Fill and label products. Clean and sanitize equipment between orders Able to read and understand batch reports in order to set up machines to order specification
Able to verify batch weights and quantities through mathematical calculations
Assist Group Leader and Production Supervisor in training new employees and performing competency reviews as needed
Understand and follow all plant policies concerning safety/emergency, conduct, maintenance and sanitation
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling and storage of food products

You bring
High School Diploma/ GED, preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Diploma Previous food plant experience, forklift truck experience and license required Basic Math skills required
Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day
Frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose; frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs
Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold)
Location: St. Louis MO
