Clinical Pharmacist

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Salinas, CA
Shift: Variable, days and evenings, with weekend rotation
Pay: $80/hr - $85/hr (W2)

• Review and optimize patient medication regimens to ensure safety, accuracy, and therapeutic effectiveness
• Identify and mitigate adverse drug events, therapeutic duplications, and medication interactions
• Ensure medication dosages are appropriate based on patient age, renal function, and liver function
• Participate in clinical rounds, interdisciplinary meetings, and patient care conferences
• Educate patients and families on medication usage when needed
• Provide drug information and in-service training to nursing, medical, and ancillary staff
• Support clinical protocols, pain management plans, and emergency code responses
• Maintain accurate medication records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Perform dispensing and other pharmacy duties as assigned

• Bachelor s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm, MS, or PharmD preferred)
• Current and active California Pharmacist License (Required)
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (Required)
• Minimum of 1 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (Required)
• Experience with Meditech Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (Required)
