Phlebotomist I
Duartion: 3-4 months
Location: Santa Clarita CA
Shift: : Mon - Fri 7:30am -4:30pm
Pay rate : $22/hr - $27.20/hr
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the face of our company, interacting directly with patients as part of their health journey. The PSR I is responsible for collecting quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and professionally. The PSR I fosters an environment of trust and confidence, explains procedures clearly to patients, and performs blood draws in a skillful and safe manner.
This role emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction.

Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing confidently, following all standard procedures.

Maintain accurate and complete records/documentation.

Job Requirements:
Skills & Abilities:

Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Be flexible and available for varying schedules, including:

Weekends, Holidays,On-call shift, Overtime, as needed

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards.

Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficient keyboard and data entry skills.
Education & Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent – Required
-
Phlebotomy certification – Preferred; Required in California
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience – Required
