Location: Tacoma, WA 98405
Assignment Type: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Tuesday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 4x10s
Local Pay: $75/hr (W2)
Travel Pay: $3300/week (blended)

Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic mammographic procedures using advanced imaging systems. The technologist will ensure optimal image quality, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards while providing compassionate care.

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic mammographic procedures using advanced imaging systems. The technologist will ensure optimal image quality, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards while providing compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with department protocols.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment (Hologic, Solenia) ensuring calibration and quality standards are met.
- Position patients accurately and maintain patient comfort and safety during imaging.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and proper positioning before submission.
- Document patient history, procedures performed and maintain accurate records in PACS/RIS.
- Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Mammography Technologist
- Certifications: ARRT (M), BLS (AHA)
- License: Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist License
- Equipment Experience: Hologic, Solenia
