Position Details:

• Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend On-Call:
  • Fridays @ 4:15 PM – Mondays @ 6:45 AM (rotating weekends & holidays)
• Call Requirements: Yes (rotating)

 
Required Experience & Certifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CST experience
• CST Certification – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• ACLS & PALS – Required or willing to obtain

 
Preferred Experience:

• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Charge and/or precepting experience is a plus

 
Unit Information:

• 3 Operating Rooms + 2 Procedure Rooms
• Surgical Case Types:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Endoscopy
  • Gynecology
  • ENT
  • Urology
  • Ophthalmology
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Equipment Used: Stryker, Storz, Steris

 
Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Blue scrubs provided by the hospital

 
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a reliable and flexible CST with at least 2 years of experience in the operating room and the ability to take call coverage on weekends. Prior experience in scrubbing, charge duties, or precepting is beneficial. Candidates should be comfortable working with a broad range of surgical cases in a smaller, fast-paced hospital setting.
