Phlebotomist II

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients, assisting both routine health visits and critical health decisions. The PSR II performs skilled blood draws and specimen preparation for lab testing following established protocols. This role requires building patient trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood collection safely and accurately.

The PSR II may work in doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as business needs dictate, reporting to the area supervisor.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.

• Confidently collect forensic and clinical specimens per established practices.

• Verify patient demographic information, confirm proper tube labeling with patient present, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture.

• Maintain required records and documentation meticulously.

• Promote a positive organizational image and demonstrate leadership behaviors.

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

• Adherence to all company policies, dress code, and safety principles.

• Sound decision-making based on established procedures.

• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).

• Ability to travel between multiple locations on short notice.

• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

• Superior customer focus and communication skills.

• Embrace change and understand company business practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).

• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience.
