Duration: 3 Months+
Shift:
5 Shift: 11 am – 7 pm Mon - Fri Float no Call Back: no
9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. 5 x 8hr shifts No weekends, No holidays, No On call.
Pay range: $60 to $65/hr on w2

We are currently seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position at a well-regarded medical facility in Hackensack, NJ. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, operating PET/CT imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with all regulatory standards.

We are currently seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position at a well-regarded medical facility in Hackensack, NJ. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, operating PET/CT imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapy procedures.
- Operate imaging systems including PET/CT and evaluate image quality using PACS.
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine scans (e.g., bone, hepatobiliary, lung, thyroid).
- Maintain accurate records for radiopharmaceutical usage, storage, and disposal in compliance with NRC and state regulations.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and contamination-free work environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate effectively with patients using AIDET standards.
- Complete required documentation and clerical tasks using systems like EPIC and the Nuclear Medicine Information System.
Requirements:
- Education: BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT & Nuclear Medicine program.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Valid NJDEP Nuclear Medicine License
- ARRT (NM) or NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in a hospital setting
- PET and CT experience preferred
- Familiarity with phlebotomy and safe radiopharmaceutical handling
