Job Title: Dietician
Job Location: Lubbock, TX
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Tuesday - Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Job Summary:

  • The Registered Dietitian provides expert nutritional care to promote health and manage disease.
  • Responsibilities include screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and consultations in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen and assess clients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Assist in menu planning and recommend therapeutic diets and supplements.
  • Advise clients and families on nutrition principles and healthy eating habits.
  • Collaborate with physicians and dietary staff to ensure quality food service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and monitor compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (or eligible for state endorsement).
  • Experience with eating disorders and substance abuse preferred.
  • SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification (as required).

Required Experience:

  • 1+ years.
  • Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance Use Disorder strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations.

Schedule:

  • Go to the facility once a week and meet with kitchen and patients to determine meal plans and special diets.

Shift:

  • 1 shift a week; 4-8 hours per shift depending upon case load.

Additional On Site Training: CPI Course – within the first 90 days of hire.

Start: ASAP.
