Job Title: Communications Associate
Job Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to, or lead, EDO communications strategy and planning.
  • Draft messaging, prepare, and coordinate materials that support EDO strategy and address internal business partner needs and feedback.
  • Identify new methods for communicating, leveraging internal communication channels with innovation and creativity, and execute tactics for delivering key messages and information to internal audiences.
  • Manage communication initiatives (newsletters; monthly/ quarterly highlights; etc.) and an annual calendar which speaks to all members of our diverse user community.
  • Measure communication effectiveness, gather feedback, report findings, develop and manage action plans.
  • Manage EDO SharePoint site content—new and updates.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as communications specialist.
  • Experience/ understanding of the pharma industry and quality organization.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to move between strategic and tactical activities.
  • Experience in copywriting, meetings management, events planning and editing.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset.
  • Experience visual design and content creation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficient command of English.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in MS Office 365.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment helping with meeting management for a high-paced team.

  • Self-Starter.
  • Self-directed: needs little explicit direction and no handholding.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to organize and prioritize a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure that focus on the success of the company is achieved.
