On Call: Yes (Available via phone on weekends)
Float/Weekend Requirements: As needed (on-call support)

• MSN – Required
• BLS – Required
• RN License – Required
Experience / Top Skills:
• Minimum 3+ years of Director-level experience
• Strong background across OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, IV Services
• Experience managing perioperative services
• Strong leadership, operational, and strategic planning experience

Job Summary
The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of perioperative care, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative services. This role ensures high-quality patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards across surgical departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage surgical services including OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, and Cath Lab
• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans
• Monitor clinical outcomes, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and departmental operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
• Lead staff training, education, and development initiatives
