Senior Network Engineer (SDWAN)
Title:Senior Network Engineer (SDWAN)
Duration – 6 months
Schedule: Must be available to work Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm Eastern with occasional pre-scheduled weekend and off hours.
Pay Range: $70.00 to $83.33/hr on w2
Job Summary
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the network for a global SDWAN roll out. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices to successfully drive the SDWAN roll out to completion. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Palo Alto Prisma SDWAN. Cisco routers and switches, WAN, have strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to delivering reliable and efficient network services.
Job Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Cisco devices, routers and switches, Palo Alto SDWAN, and WAN.
- Experience deploying, implementing, configuring, and supporting all stages of the SD-WAN process from inception to completion.
- WAN – Circuits, Protocols, Configuration
- Experience implementing QoS policies within SD-WAN
- Evaluating MPLS AND Internet Circuit stability, Link quality, packet loss and Latency
- Leveraging SD-WAN monitoring tools to address bottlenecks and to optimize traffic paths, and fine tune policies to improve application performance.
- Ensure network infrastructure operates optimally.
- Should have excellent communication skills.
- Experience with technical documentation, development of policy and procedures, and for compliance with those already existing.
