Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Locations Available: Salinas, CA 93901
Duration: 3 + Months (Possibility of Extension)

Shift: 12-hour Nights Shifts
 
Compensation:
Local Rate: $60/hr. on W2
Travel Package: $2,554.50/week blended
 
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and respond promptly to emergency situations.
 
Key Duties:

• Performs Respiratory Care procedures in accordance with all standing policies and procedures.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Attends interdisciplinary patient care meetings.
• Responds to all Code Blue emergencies in all areas of the hospital.
• Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients serviced on his/her unit of assignment.
• Sets up and maintains various types of Respiratory Care equipment.
• Monitors the use and efficacy/complications of Respiratory Care equipment.

 
Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited 2–4-year Respiratory Care Program
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Licensed by the State of California to practice respiratory care
  • Registered/Certified through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Current Certifications (must be maintained throughout employment):

• BLS (Basic Life Support – American Heart Association)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support – American Heart Association)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – American Academy of Paediatrics & AHA)
• Epic Experience is Must
