Job Duration: 5+ months of contract with possible extension.
4 Shift hours Available:
Sun, Wed, Thu, Fri & Sat (4:00 am - 12:30 pm) PST
Friday to Tuesday (8:00 pm – 4:30 am) PST
Sunday to Thursday – (8:00 pm – 4:30 am) PST
Wednesday to Sunday (5:00 pm – 1:30 am) PST
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr. on W2

The Specimen Processor is responsible for handling and processing a variety of biological samples, including blood, urine, stool, plasma, and other bodily fluids. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Job Description:
The Specimen Processor is responsible for handling and processing a variety of biological samples, including blood, urine, stool, plasma, and other bodily fluids. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and label specimens accurately.
- Perform centrifugation and aliquoting of samples as required.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of specimens.
- Enter patient and specimen data accurately into the system.
- Maintain specimen integrity by following proper handling procedures.
- Adhere to all safety, compliance, and quality standards in a biohazard environment.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience handling biological samples in a laboratory or clinical setting.
- Strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of specimen handling, labeling, and processing procedures.
