Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Titusville, NJ

Duration: 7 Months Contract

Pay Range: $50-54/Hr

Job Description: This role requires a dynamic individual who can collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members and external partners. A successful candidate will demonstrate experience in the successful delivery of complex project management, working in areas of product transfers or discontinuations, supplier qualifications, material issue management, and/or portfolio optimization, as well as portfolio management. This role requires aptitude in the following skills: leadership, project management methodologies & fundamentals (FPX preferred), data & project metric analysis, business process improvement, influencing, and executive communication. The selected individual will be highly focused and self-directed to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of projects in accordance with defined Product. Project Leadership With limited direction, lead cross company project teams in a dynamic environment to identify, recommend and execute the best for enterprise business solutions/propositions Drive activities to meet project and business objectives including approval of project recommendations through governance. Influence others beyond own Product and level; lead communications with all levels of stakeholders to enable informed decision making Drive cross-company team accountability for deliverables and ensure projects meet defined project milestones Demonstrate team performance management; ask the right questions to understand business impact and risks Make the complex simple when presenting opportunities and plans to the team and organization Lead team thorough options analysis and drive recommendations Project Execution Develop, manage and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints, while applying appropriate project scheduling techniques Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates, Project Dashboards and Update Forms; and develop a project culture of accountability Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders and appropriate levels of the organization Lead "lessons learned" exercises, share lessons among project leaders and other teams Facilitation & Risk Management Engage teams in healthy debate/conflict resolution, and deliver team aligned option business solutions Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders; lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning Product definitions and control: stakeholder alignment, project planning, project execution Qualifications Required: A Bachelor's Degree Business or a related discipline A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience Excellent oral, written, presentation communication skills Proven record of leading projects and delivering results Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams Experience in New Product Introduction and/or Life Cycle Project Management Capability of leading/overseeing multiple projects at the same time is required. Preferred: Process Excellence or Six Sigma training/certification Demonstrated leadership & influencing skills across organizational levels Experience with standard PM tools and templates
