Job Title: Senior Chemist
Location: Northridge, CA 91325- Onsite
Duration: 6 Months+
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Onsite
Pay rate: $35.97/hr on W2
Must Have:
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with common analytical techniques and instrumentation.
- Interpretation of data, particularly HPLC, MS, LCMS, FTIR.
- Data analysis and statistics.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, SharePoint, and Teams for sharing data.
Hiring Manager’s Top Needs:
- HPLC Method development and method validation.
- Protein and/or large molecule separation experience.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems, along with data analysis and communication skills.
Education Required:
- Bachelor of Science (BS).
- Master of Science (MS) preferred.
Years’ Experience Required:
- 5+ years with BS.
- 3+ years with MS.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently with common analytical techniques and instrumentation, including data interpretation (HPLC, MS, LCMS, FTIR), data analysis, and statistics.
- Conduct exploratory research to produce new knowledge and potential products.
- Conceive, organize, promote, and execute ideas and plans to increase chemistry’s role and contribution to discovery and chemical approaches in product development.
- Develop research proposals to provide technically and economically sound bases for developing and evaluating new or improved products, synthetic methods, processes, and analytical/physical testing techniques.
- Recommend utilization of results, changes in products or work, or project termination.
Technical Specialist Career Stream:
- Individual contributor responsible for advancing existing or introducing new technology and therapies.
- Formulates, delivers, and manages assigned projects, working with stakeholders to achieve results.
- May mentor colleagues or direct work of lower-level professionals.
- Majority of time spent delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies from design to implementation while adhering to policies.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
