Job Title: Adoption & Learning Lead
Job Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Duration: 07+ Month Contract (Possibility of Extension)

Position Summary:
  • The Change Experience & Learning (CE&L) team within Client Informatics is passionate about the people-side of change and drives holistic technology change experiences for Client employees. This ensures the investments we make in tools and technology are realized when people can adopt them successfully.
  • The Adoption and Learning Lead empowers Client colleagues to learn efficiently and become competent practitioners of the tech tools we use at Client and is responsible for assessing training needs, leading the development of learning plans, and coordinating with internal and external partners on the development, delivery and maintenance of learning solutions.
Your key responsibilities:
  • Learning Strategy - Product & Plan
  • Continuously identify training and learning needs, analyze results to develop new learning programs or modify and improve the effectiveness of existing programs.
  • Partner with Domains, Product Line/ Product Leads, and/or change strategy leads to assess the need for training and to identify specific criteria & content for learning programs.
  • Manage the activities & logistics involved in the design, preparation, delivery and need assessment of IT training programs. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of training programs.
  • Ensure creation, accuracy and consistency of all related learning content and alignment with communication campaigns, change strategies, and other engagement activities.
Training Implementation - Development & Delivery
  • Plan, develop, and provide or facilitate training programs, incorporating latest adult learning theories and expertise, and help determine best delivery modalities including microlearning, face to face events, e-learning, etc.
  • Develop and organize training materials and content that are easy to understand and relevant to the audience's needs in various formats: Visual guides, presentations, videos, etc.
  • Engage the audience depending on the Change Management strategy (ADKAR, Lewis models) to ensure effective knowledge transfer and adoption.
  • Regularly review learning content created to ensure it remains relevant and up to date.
Measurement & Evaluation
  • Develop methods for evaluation of program effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Your qualifications and experience:
Skills/Capabilities
  • Highly effective at building relationships, teams and collaborating with others. Ability to inspire, engage and leverage a diverse workforce, including contractors, employees and consultants.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, present complex and/or new ideas with clarity and simplicity.
  • Expertise in meeting facilitation and cocreation within collaborative teams; ability to lead a small group of peers to a desired outcome
  • Outstanding project management skills and ability to flex and multitask in a shifting environment. Takes a proactive approach to anticipating needs and leads with recommendations.
  • Expertise in business partnering and consulting to determine client/customer needs and build effective relationships.
  • Knowledge of emerging and evolving technologies. Ability to understand technical jargon and distill into simple user facing communications & learning
  • Knowledge and experience working with change management practices and instructional design methodologies
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Cornerstone (LMS), video production, and graphic design software.
  • Experience in working according to Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to design and facilitate state of the art adult learning programs
  • Skilled in applying and appropriately adapting organizational learning models and frameworks
  • Experience coordinating and managing a training portfolio and working within Learning Management Systems.
  • Flexibility to craft a customized learning approach/strategy that is entirely focused on the customers’ & end users needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to Product consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives.
  • Proactive self-starter; ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Challenges the organization to be curious, questions the status quo & embraces new ways of working, demonstrating “can-do” attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure (being comfortable with being uncomfortable).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Cornerstone (LMS), video production, and graphic design software preferred
  • English working proficiency.
  • BA/BS degree (required)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent education/work experience in a related field (i.e., organizational learning, adult education, organizational development, etc) (preferred)
  • At least five years of relevant experience as an internal or independent trainer and organizational learning practitioner. Experience should include organizational learning, training needs assessment, and/or related activities.
