Job Description:
As our ETW Apparel Developer your role will support multiple functions in the Product Creation process. You will partner with Development, Design, Product Management, Sourcing/Costing and Factory Partners to help support commercialization of our seasonal product line. Attention to detail, operational excellence and cross functional communication will be paramount as we work with Design Schematics, Bill of Materials, Family Files and Style Trackers.
 
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned style count from Brief to Buy Ready according to critical dates, product specifications including silhouette, materials, trims and graphics
  • Will be responsible for managing T100 Speed Track, Style Extensions, Carryover styles and our City/Country Tee Program
  • Build and maintain BOMs in PPS for assigned styles and updating as needed per factory/ PCC feedback
  • This includes file conversion to .pdf and posting to factory Box folders
  • Create and maintain development and factory tracking tools in Excel
  • Managing files to ensure data accuracy and uploading to Box folders for cross functional partners
  • Seasonal color data entry into PSTLATOR system
  • Enter information into SPIs at necessary checkpoints for accurate Buy Ready reporting
  • Assist Design in creation of seasonal style schematics in Adobe Illustrator
  • Responsible for building Family Files to be uploaded to MMX
  • Help lead seasonal graphic/style review meetings, communicating fit, and graphic elements with your Triad partners
  • Assist Development/Design in maintaining and updating schematics through Prototype reviews and factory feedback
 
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in apparel design, graphic design or related field. Two years additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
2+ years development experience in the apparel industry, which includes the apparel development process from inception through production
Previous experience at using PPS, PCX and MMX systems
Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills
Experience interpreting design intent, offering alternative solutions, and acting as a technical resource for graphics and trims
Experience working with factory vendors
Ability to manage multiple projects. Must be a self-starter
Experience using Adobe Illustrator is a must and Photoshop
