Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Murrieta CA
Duration: 4months
Shift: 7:30AM - 12:00PM M-F
Position Summary:
Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, welcoming patients who visit as part of their health maintenance or to receive life-impacting diagnostic information. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing a professional, safe, and trustworthy patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily duties accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor.
Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment always.
Confidently perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
Deliver exceptional customer service while protecting patient confidentiality and promoting a positive image of the organization.
Explain procedures clearly to patients, maintaining an atmosphere of trust and calm.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; Required in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED)
Skills and Competencies:
Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws
Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated professionalism and sensitivity to patient confidentiality
Flexibility in scheduling (must be available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed)
