Duration: 3 months (Temp to perm)
Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Range: $25 – $30/hr. on W2
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment, supporting safe and effective patient care. This role requires strong technical skills, adherence to regulatory standards, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment, supporting safe and effective patient care. This role requires strong technical skills, adherence to regulatory standards, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate washer disinfectors, autoclaves, and other sterilization equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with ANSI/AAMI standards, manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs), and infection control practices.
- Inspect instruments for functionality, cleanliness, and integrity before and after sterilization.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to support case readiness.
- Follow all Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Uphold professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years sterile processing experience (required)
- Certification (CRCST, CIS, or equivalent) – required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
