Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Family Medicine
Location: Marshall, MI
Assignment Length: 3 Months+ (possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday–Thursday: (Days) 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday: Half Day
Weekend Requirement: Yes

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), supporting both clinical and administrative operations to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a full-time, day-shift contract role ideal for CMAs experienced in ambulatory or outpatient primary care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Escort patients, take and record vitals, height, and weight
- Document medical and medication histories accurately in the EMR
- Prepare patients for exams/procedures and assist providers
- Collect specimens and administer medications/immunizations (IM, SQ, Oral, Nasal)
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and adhere to standard precautions
Administrative Duties:
- Answer phones and address patient inquiries professionally
- Schedule appointments, process referrals and prior authorizations
- Accurately register patients, ensure documentation is scanned and compliant
- Communicate effectively and uphold exemplary patient service standards
Required Qualifications:
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
