Technical Project Manager - III

Careers Integrated Resources Inc Richmond, VA (Onsite) Contractor


Expectations:
1. Responsible for process management and execution of complex mid to large-scale projects or programs.
2. Reviews all facets of project development, to include overall project and program schedules, budgets, constraints, staffing requirements, and risks. Monitors and controls costs so that projects are completed within the approved budget guidelines.
3. Provides technical leadership and guidance to project managers, product managers/owners, engineers and scrum master's throughout the project life cycle in support of business plans and client initiatives.
4. Effectively communicates with stakeholders and other resources to maintain progress status. Key participant in providing input and status updates to leadership and executives during project design, build, and testing phases.
5. Applies progressive knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to ensure the long-term viability, supportability, and achievement of project deliverables.
6. Manage releases and the overall release lifecycle.
7. After hours or Weekend support and willingness to patriciate in on-call rotations, as needed.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Expertise:
Excellent knowledge of supporting mission critical applications and infrastructure in a 24x7 environment
Excellent verbal communication skills with command of the English language.
Excellent written communication skills and an ability to track and present situational status.
Excellent time-management skills.
Extremely computer literate especially with MS Office Suite of products, MS Project and Gantt.
Experience with Operating Systems, Database, Middleware and Network Technologies
Experience with engineering tools, processes, and best practices.
Experience with Agile development life cycle and Scaled Agile framework
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Quals--
Bachelors degree or equal level of technical experience
5-7 years of infrastructure knowledge or managing large-scale data centers
5-7 years working experience in program/product management
5-7 years working experience with release management
Experience working with technology teams, including design/build and delivery engineers, operations, architects
