Phlebotomist I

Location: Palm Springs, FL
Duration: 7+ Months (Extension Possible)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are hiring a Phlebotomist (Patient Services Representative I) to join our healthcare team in Palm Springs, FL. This role involves direct patient interaction, specimen collection, and lab preparation. Ideal candidates will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensure accurate documentation and data entry.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and build trust.
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and compliance protocols.
• Be available for flexible scheduling including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training: Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, WA).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
  • 1+ year preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or healthcare settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry required.

• Must reside within a 20–25 minute commute of Palm Springs, FL.
• Must have reliable personal transportation (rideshare/bus not accepted).
• Resume must include home city and commute time.
• Must be punctual and able to complete full scheduled shifts.
• Pay rate is based on verified years of direct experience (overlapping roles not counted twice).
