Position Summary: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Lander, WY 82520
Facility: SageWest Health Care
Assignment Type: Travel/Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Experience Required: 2+ years recent L&D or OB experience
Bonus: $1,200 Completion Bonus (paid upon successful completion of the full assignment)
Key Responsibilities
-
Administers medications and clinical treatments per patient care plan
-
Performs specimen collection and monitors patient response
-
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
-
Records and communicates patient condition to the care team and family
-
Assists patients with ADLs: hygiene, elimination, mobility, nutrition
-
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination
-
Provides patient/family education tailored to individual needs
-
Circulates during C-Sections, assists with deliveries, neonatal assessments
-
Recovers surgical patients following proper hospital protocols

Attends and maintains required certifications (NRP, Fetal Monitoring, STABLE)
Certifications Required

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required

Fetal Monitoring Certification Must be up to date (renewed every 2 years)

S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification Preferred if offered
Additional Notes

Must be competent in:
-
Circulating during Cesarean sections

Newborn assessments immediately post-delivery

Recognizing and communicating critical patient information
