Job Title: Filling Technician I
Location: Rockford, IL 61101
Duration: 6 Months+ (Contract With possibility of Extension)
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr. on W2
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate semi-automated and manual filling equipment
- Operate industrial equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Properly complete manufacturing documentation under ISO9001 guidelines
- Assist with staging raw materials, cleaning lab hardware, off-loading filling lines
- Support department tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple responsibilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of the metric system
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including full-face respirators when needed
- Preferred: Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience
- Physical requirements: Constant standing/walking, regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently 25 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable working around hazardous waste/materials and complete required hazardous waste training within 30 days of assignment
- Comfortable working with organics, flammable solvents, acids/bases, biohazards, bacterial cultures, hazardous chemicals
Additional Notes:
- Shift timing: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Candidates with prior machine experience or comfortable working around machines preferred
- Hazardous waste training and safety compliance mandatory

- Do you have any manufacturing or machine operation experience?
- Are you able to wear required PPE, including respirators if necessary?
- Are you comfortable working with hazardous materials and willing to complete hazardous waste training?
- Can you perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting weights up to 50 lbs?
- Do you have good communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment?
