Schedule Notes: Days/Mids plus call responsibility | Weekends Required: Yes | Float Position: No
Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Work Setting: Hospital – Surgery Department
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Education Requirements:
-
High School/GED and one of the following:
-
Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
-
Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
-
Completion of a Client-sponsored Apprentice II Program
-
Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech
-
Required Certifications:
-
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent
Job Summary

Collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care, ensuring patient goals are met and hospital mission is upheld.

Performs procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and technical skills.

Demonstrates a higher level of collaboration with peers in decision-making related to surgical patient care.
