Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - Days
Location: 415 Sixth St, Lewiston, ID 83501
Facility: St. Joseph Regional Medical Center
Shift:

Days: Friday to Monday

Duration: 13 Weeks

Role Overview:
The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals of all ages who have medical problems or conditions that affect their ability to move and perform daily activities. PTs develop treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Additionally, PTs create fitness and wellness programs to help individuals lead healthier and more active lives. This role primarily covers the ARU but may require floating to inpatient areas depending on census.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve movement and function.

Administer treatment techniques to alleviate pain, restore function, and enhance mobility.

Educate patients on exercise, wellness programs, and injury prevention.

Provide care in various settings including the ARU, inpatient, and other designated areas as needed.

Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:

Licensing & Certifications:

Must have Idaho PT License (attach to resume).

Must have BLS Certification (through the American Heart Association, attach to submission).

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent hospital PT experience.

Additional Requirements:
-
Ability to float between the ARU and inpatient departments based on patient census.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and the healthcare team.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
