Location: New York, NY (Remote)
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension)
Pay Range: $25/hr. - $27/hr.
Hours: (Part-time) The number of hours each week will vary, will support east coast morning hours, the work must be completed during core business hours 9 am 6 pm. Will work 3-4 days/week up to 15 hours/week, each week is flexible depending on the tasks to be completed.

Job Description:
- The client is seeking a Freelance Communications Assistant/Coordinator to support their communications department.
- This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with an understanding of sports and the media business. The candidate will assist in various communications and administrative tasks. Hours each week can be flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Monitoring & Summarization: Track and summarize weekly media coverage.
- Clip Coordination: Assist in gathering and organizing weekly media clips for internal distribution.
- Administrative Support: Provide general communications administrative assistance, including maintaining media lists, and supporting department initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree or higher
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of sports and the media business.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and research skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately summarize media coverage and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working remotely or in-person in New York City.
