Job Title: Operations Engineer Intern
Job Location: Tewksbury, MA 01876
Job Duration: 12 months+

 
Shift: 25 hrs. per week - part time 
Pay range: $27/hr. on W2
 
What will you do?
  • Debugs and solves problems existing mechanical and electronic designs
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to improve product documentation, work instructions (WI), test procedures
  • Participates with R&D in initial product development product builds and validation
  • Defines and integrates factory and service test equipment
  • Implement engineering change orders to support manufacturing and/or service
  • Applies Client’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) tools to lead or facilitate productivity, scrap reduction, process improvement, and cost improvement projects
 
How will you get here?
  • The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a combination of technical education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
  • Able to tackle sophisticated electro-mechanical systems using electrical schematics, DVM, oscilloProducts, function generators and spectrum analyzers
  • Able to plan and resolve issues that involve Producting collaboration of multi-functional, multi-cultural groups and sites without damaging relationships
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications to analyze, organize, and communicate data/information throughout the organization in a clear and concise manner
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Understanding and experience with low level analog signal processing
  • Knowledge of key technologies including motion control, process automation, optics, and material selection, Electrostatic discharge (ESD), Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA)

  • Strong communication, excellent written and verbal skills, fluent in English, and ability to report out to multiple levels of the organization
