Patient Services Representative (PSR I)
Location: Ocala, FL
Shift: Mon-Fri, 5:30 AM–2:30 PM or 6:30 AM–3:30 PM (4-month contract, shift depends on COVID duration)

Job Summary:
The PSR I is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, patient communication, confidentiality, and accuracy. Must maintain a safe, professional environment and follow established procedures.

• Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens accurately and timely

• Maintain records and documentation

• Foster a positive patient experience with professionalism and trust

• Work independently under supervisor’s direction

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred

• Strong customer service and data entry skills

• Reliable transportation and punctuality essential

• Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime if needed
