Location: Albany, NY 12208
Duration: 3 months+ (possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $65/hr. on W2

Position Overview:
Under the guidance of Medical Directors, Clinical Specialists, Managers, and Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures within a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment. The role demands technical proficiency, patient care excellence, and adherence to radiation safety protocols as mandated by New York State Department of Health code part 16.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging for a diverse patient population including trauma/emergency cases, outpatients, inpatients (stable and ICU), research participants, and specialized CT-guided procedures.
• Deliver safe, high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Support ongoing education and training efforts for self and peers as CT technology evolves.
• Enforce radiation safety and compliance regulations.

• Graduate of an AMA-approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or Limited Permit for NY practice.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer.

• Entry-level applicants accepted; MIT level assigned based on skills and experience.

• Technical proficiency in CT imaging modalities.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, trauma-focused environment.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and safety compliance.
