1st shift: 6:00am 2:30pm
2nd shift: 9:30am 6:00pm
**Shift hours could change to meet the needs of operations.
This person is proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing electrical and mechanical equipment that utilize up to 3-phase 480v. AC, AC/DC motors and motor controls, gearmotors, pneumatic cylinders, valve banks, conveyor chain, belts, bearings, and VFDs. Troubleshooting and repairing printer, labeler, and automated packaging equipment issues. Can utilize maintenance CMMS system to complete PMs and parts check out. Understand and utilize LOTO. Familiar with Arc Product Safety. Has knowledge and troubleshooting ability with PLCs specifically Allen Bradley, has knowledge of the NEC code, can interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to complete projects. Can work with others to help them reach development goals. Can communicate effectively with team members within the Dispensing and Engineering Departments as well as with members of management.
The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 3 oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.
The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 3 ensures maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards, evaluates mechanical products to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency, oversees and implements prescription drug distribution equipment and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality, performs and Professional 4s tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects, and devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, andworks under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
