Schedule = Monday through Friday on-site, 8am-5pm
The Global Documentation Specialist will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in local and global documentation processes and best practices related to design change implementation. They will work closely with project teams to create change documentation and obtain approvals to release the documents in accordance with project timelines.
This position is part of the Value Engineering Project Management Office and will be an on-site position located in Chaska, Minnesota.
You will be a part of the Value Engineering team and report to the Project Manager of Portfolio Management and Documentation Specialists responsible for managing top direct material savings projects. If you thrive in a supporting role for a dynamic team and want to work to build a world-class product and process improvement organization read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Become the SME in change order processes at multiple sites
Develop best practices to minimize documentation review and approval lead time
Work with global project teams
Draft and route project documentation, including follow-up with approvers
Incorporate minor print updates and routing for approval
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school degree or equivalent degree with 2+ years of experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks and activities to deliver project on time
