Location: Monroeville, PA 15146 (Onsite)
Duration: 5 - 6 Months+ (with possibility of extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Training: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM local time | Post-training: Choose between 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM shift starts

Position Summary:
Join a Fortune 5 company’s Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) division in a dynamic Customer Care Representative role. You'll assist health plan members by phone, helping them navigate their pharmacy benefits, including prescription coverage, mail order medications, and insurance-related questions. You’ll play a vital role in simplifying healthcare for patients through empathy, clarity, and technical support.
This role begins onsite for training (6+ weeks) with Work-from-Home (WFH) eligibility after successful completion and performance review.

- Answer inbound calls from members regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and benefit eligibility.
- Educate and assist members with mail-order services, coverage options, and pharmacy-related inquiries.
- Navigate multiple computer systems and dual screens efficiently during calls.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in each interaction.
- Support members in a way that improves their healthcare experience and quality of life.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and data privacy standards.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 1+ year of customer-facing experience (call center, retail, healthcare, hospitality, military, etc.)
- Strong computer skills: navigating between multiple systems, screens, and programs simultaneously.
- Ability to match pace of the caller, remain calm, and show empathy under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ months of experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or benefits-related environment.
- Prior experience working with health plan members or patient services.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and active listening skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Work-From-Home Readiness (Post-Training):
To be eligible for WFH after training, candidates must:
- Maintain a reliable internet connection (wired preferred).
- Have a private, distraction-free workspace.
- Successfully complete training and meet performance standards.
- Comply with HIPAA/privacy regulations.

- City/State must be listed at the top of resume.
- Shift preference (9:00 AM or 11:00 AM start) must also be listed on resume.
- Strong potential for contract-to-hire conversion for top performers.
