Licensed Benefit Educator
Job Title: Licensed Benefit Educator
Location:
Phoenix, AZ (Candidates must live within a 120-mile radius)
Schedule: No guaranteed hours; position is on an as-needed basis.
Role Overview:
The Benefit Educator is vital to our business's success. As the representative of ***, your primary responsibility is to conduct exceptional enrollment events that differentiate *** from competitors. In this client-facing role, you will educate customers about ***’s products, services, and programs through various methods, including formal presentations, benefit fairs, and health fairs. The goal is to create a highly satisfying and positive customer experience, demonstrating knowledge, competence, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Licensing and Compliance:

Maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License.

Customer Education:
-
Explain and present employer-sponsored benefits and health insurance.

Successfully introduce and educate customers about *** benefit programs.

Event Coordination:
-
Conduct enrollment events and troubleshoot any enrollment or benefit questions.

Travel within the geographic market to cover events as needed.

Communication:

Engage comfortably with large groups as well as individuals in one-on-one settings.

Utilize email and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for presentations and communication.

Expense Management:

Charge and be reimbursed for travel expenses (car rental, air, hotel, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Life and Health License required.
-

Experience:
-
Experience explaining and presenting employer-sponsored benefits.
-
Knowledge of local market nuances (providers, networks, competitors) preferred.

Bilingual capabilities preferred.

Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
-
Familiar with virtual meeting platforms (Webex, Zoom, Skype).

Essential Skills:
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills, both virtual and in-person.

Knowledge of employee benefits (health, dental, pharmacy, vision, etc.) and HIPAA compliance.

Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
-
Tech-savvy and adaptable.

Additional Information:

Candidates must have their own reliable transportation.
-
Candidates can work for other carriers/enrollment companies but cannot accept exclusive contracts during peak season.
