Phlebotomist I

Perform daily tasks accurately and punctually under the direction of the area supervisor

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at all times

Confidently perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established procedures

Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing with precision and care

Maintain accurate documentation and records as per company standards

Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for patients

Promote a professional and welcoming image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public

Clearly explain collection procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy

Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric specimen collection

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.

High school diploma or equivalent required

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience required

1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred

Customer service experience in a retail or service setting preferred

Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry is a must
