Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Horicon, WI 53032
Duration: 24 Months Contract
As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will lead Quality Planning Activities for assigned commodities related to PDP programs, current production, service parts and continuous improvement (CI) and value improvement (VI) projects.
In addition, you will:
Facilitate/participate in cross functional teams in the application of quality-related development activities (e.g. DPAR's, FMEA's, control plans, design reviews, supplier audits, risk assessments, and root cause analysis).
Assist in identifying, communicating and resolving supplier quality problems for PDP programs and current production.
Facilitate corrective action (8D process steps) for PDP programs and supplier quality issues
Ensure robust execution of Return Goods Authorization (RGAs); Supplier Change Requests (SCRs); quality plans, and supplier improvement activities as required
What Skills You Need:
2 or more years of related experience which may include manufacturing, quality engineering or supply management in a design/manufacturing environment
Experience with standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), NCCA (Non-Conformance Corrective Action), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma.
Experience utilizing advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis to identify, investigate, and resolve problems.
Experience with drawings and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to lead and identify priorities with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organization skills
What Makes You Stand Out:
2 or more years of experience in the practice of quality engineering tools, including Supplier Audits, DPARs, and Design Reviews.
Knowledge of SAP-PAG and SAP-PDM
Audit experience (JDS-G223, Process Verification Audits, Special Process Audits, etc.)
Experience with Riding Lawn Equipment or Utility Vehicle production processes
Experience with Lean manufacturing
Education:
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a Technology related discipline or equivalent work experience
