Phlebotomist I
Job Location: Lancaster SC
Job Duration: 4 Months
Shift: Mon& Tue 9am - 5pm
Position Summary
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the face of the company for patients seeking routine care or making life-defining health decisions. This role is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring a safe, professional, and patient-centered experience. The PSR I builds trust with patients by clearly explaining procedures and performing specimen collection in a skillful, accurate, and compassionate manner while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily assigned duties accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures

Accurately maintain required records and documentation

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence

Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, employees, and the public

Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and patient information accuracy
Required Skills & Abilities

Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Strong customer service and communication skills

Proficiency with keyboarding and data entry
Schedule & Availability Requirements

Flexible availability based on staffing needs

Must be available for weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime

Must arrive on time and remain for the full scheduled shift

Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination
Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
-
Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred

Phlebotomy certification preferred
-
Required in California, Nevada, and Washington

Work Experience Requirements
-
Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience (Required)
