Job Title: Entry-Level Phlebotomist (Patient Services Representative I)
Location: Hollywood, FL
Duration: 4+ Months (Extension Possible)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Rotational Saturdays: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Entry-Level Phlebotomist to join our team in Hollywood, FL. This role is ideal for individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to grow into a clinical role. You will begin by supporting front-of-house operations and gradually be trained in phlebotomy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with check-in using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area.
- Provide high-level customer service and address patient inquiries with empathy.
- Support phlebotomy staff during breaks and downtime.
- Learn and perform blood specimen collection (once trained), including forensic and clinical procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and data entry.
- Follow safety, confidentiality, and compliance protocols.
- Promote a positive image of the organization to patients and visitors.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).

Experience:
- 1–2 years of customer-facing experience (e.g., retail, home health aide, hospitality).
- No prior phlebotomy experience required—training will be provided.
- Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry is essential.

Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn phlebotomy and grow within the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
- Must reside within a 20–25 minute commute of the Hollywood, FL worksite.
- Must have reliable personal transportation (rideshare/bus not accepted).
- Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full scheduled shifts.
- Resume must include home city and commute time.
- Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination.
Additional Job Details:
- Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to/from worksite without issue (bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable transportation).
- Must be available to work whenever scheduled, BE ON TIME, and stay for the entire shift.
- Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination.
- Candidates need to be within a 20-25 min commute window to ensure their ability to travel to/from the site for coverage.
- This is a "Front of House" role that will also train the candidate on Phlebotomy skills.
