Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: 12/08/2025 – 03/12/2026
Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (1st Shift)
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week; weekend rotation required; no on-call

• Minimum of 1 year of worked or educational clinical experience in both general and critical care.

• Perform designated respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Provide treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.

• Perform therapeutic treatments and diagnostic testing involving medical gases, environmental control systems, humidification, and aerosols.

• Administer medications to the cardiopulmonary system.

• Provide ventilatory support, including maintenance and management of life support systems.

• Perform bronchopulmonary clearance and breathing exercises.

• Conduct patient education and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

• Maintain natural and artificial airways.

• Perform duties in critical care and non-critical care areas for patients of all ages.

• Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of Client Health System.

• 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting providing respiratory care.

• Associate Degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program – Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care – Preferred

• Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) – Required

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) – Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required only for Froedtert West Bend Hospital or Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital (CHD only)

• American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and Wisconsin Society for Respiratory Care (WSRC) membership – Preferred
