Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Bradenton, FL
Duration: 5 months+
Shift: Sunday & Monday- Off
Tuesday - 6:30 am – 3:30 pm- 1hr lunch
Wednesday - 10 am – 2 pm
Thursday - 10 am – 2 pm
Friday - 6:30 am – 3:30 pm 1hr lunch
Saturday - 7 am – 11 am
Job Summary:
The PSR I serve as the face of the company, supporting patients through the collection of quality blood samples and preparation of specimens for lab testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, excellent patient interaction, and adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws (venipuncture, capillary) on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Verify patient ID and label specimens in front of patients.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure specimen integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build patient trust.
- Travel to and cover multiple locations as needed, sometimes with short notice.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviour and follow all protocols, including dress code and safety policies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED); Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred

Experience:
- 6 months phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED).
- 1+ years in Patient Service Center preferred.
- Retail/service customer support and data entry experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills.
- Must speak and understand basic Spanish.
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license (clean driving record required).
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Mileage reimbursement available for floaters.
Other:
- Must arrive on time, stay for full shift, and maintain excellent attendance.
