Job Title: Scientist
Location: Farmingdale, NY 11735
Duration: 1 Month+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Pay Rate: $37/hr. on W2
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 - 6:00 pm with a required 60 minute unpaid lunch break daily.

Description:
- Minimum Education level: Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
Job Duties:
- Performing routine microbial lab tasks; plate count, dilution, sampling, etc.
- Following media recipes and solutions to make agar, media, etc.
- Assists team in other functions and duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work in a high volume/fast paced laboratory with agility for change.
- Knowledge of Windows based computer programs.
