Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Medford NJ
Duration: 2months
Shift: Monday and Thursday 6:30 am to 11:30 am with every Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.
Payrate Range - $17/hr - $21/hr 

The PSR I represents the face of the company to patients and clients. They play a key role in collecting quality blood specimens for lab testing while creating a safe and professional environment. This role is essential in building trust and confidence with patients by explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.

• Draw blood specimens from patients for clinical and forensic testing.

• Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.

• Ensure daily activities are performed accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.

• Follow established procedures and protocols.

• Accurately maintain required records and documentation.

• Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a strong commitment to confidentiality and data accuracy.

• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

• Flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Medical training (e.g., medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

• Minimum of 6 months relevant experience.

• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

• Strong keyboarding and data entry skills required.
