Job Summary:
The Quality Data Analyst is responsible for utilizing data-driven insights to evaluate and enhance the reliability and effectiveness of quality control processes. This role focuses on identifying trends, diagnosing recurring issues, and recommending actionable solutions to improve product quality and operational performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze data on recurring product defects to identify root causes and document findings.
- Evaluate raw material inspection logs to detect consistent failures and notify purchasing and quality teams regarding underperforming suppliers.
- Assess work processes, measurements, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend modifications to procedures and workflows based on data analysis and findings.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to define, align, and improve quality standards and expectations.
- Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams to support organizational goals.
- Monitor, log, and analyze both internal and external customer complaints to support reporting and resolution efforts.
- Perform compliance analyses using a range of chemical, biological, and physical testing methodologies to ensure product meets specifications.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Life Sciences).
- 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance, quality data analysis, or a related field.
