Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health care or critical, life-defining decisions. This entry-level role helps with patient care by greeting patients, answering questions with care and compassion, maintaining the integrity of the waiting area, and assisting with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable. The individual will also be trained in Phlebotomy skills for career growth within the company.
The ENTRY PSR I ensures patients feel confident and informed about their scheduled procedures, demonstrates excellence in customer care, and maintains confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. This role is crucial for maintaining lobby integrity and delivering high-quality patient service.

Note: This is a "Front of House" role with Phlebotomy training. Candidates unwilling to learn or perform Phlebotomy should not apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Handle patients with care and compassion during check-ins using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.
- Learn Phlebotomy skills during downtime or break coverage periods.
- Once trained, confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established practices and procedures.
- Deliver high-level customer service at all times, which is critical to the role.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience REQUIRED (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc.).
- Prior Phlebotomy experience NOT required.
- Keyboard/data entry experience REQUIRED.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be willing to learn and perform Phlebotomy skills; this is an entry position into Phlebotomy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not considered reliable).
- Must be punctual, available for scheduled shifts, and stay for the full shift. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may result in termination.
- Candidates should be within a 20-25 minute commute window to ensure timely arrival.
